OBJECTIVE
COHSP®
program
designed to develop the knowledge and practical skills of
health and safety representatives, managers and supervisors
to deal with Occupational Health and Safety issues in the
workplace. Participants will gain a basic knowledge
of their relevant legal responsibilities for OHS.
Participants should also develop skills that will enable
them to confidently carry out their responsibilities and
contribute to the implementation of an effective OHS
management process in their workplace. As well as equip
participants with the necessary competency of managing
activities of Occupational Health and Safety
in
corporations.

COHSP®
is designed for all those professionals who want to excel
their Occupational Health and Safety competencies. These
professionals may belong to any industry, including:
Engineering, Education, Healthcare,
Construction, Information Technology, Utilities,
Telecommunication, Consultancy, Financial Services,
Technology, Manufacturing ….etc

Candidates must master the following modules before
completing the Certification Exam. These modules comprise

- Forklift Safety
- Materials Handling and Storage
- Electrical Safety for General Industry
- Personal Protective Equipment for General Industry
- Means of Egress and Fire Protection
- Walking and Working Surfaces
Module4: Trauma
and Safety

Lead Safety in the Workplace
- Personal Response to Trauma
- Professional Response to Trauma
- Safety Orientation
EXAMINATION
The examination
is composed of multiple-choice questions and two case studies, which
including the definition related questions, the understanding of the
conceptions, discussion the comparative merits of each question, as well as
the solutions under various assumptions.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree, plus more than 4years working experiences in engineering companies
Master degree, plus more than 2years working experiences in engineering companies
Complete 4-hour exam successfully
Finish certification application process and paid all the required fees.
