PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

 

The CHRC® designation is designed for human resource professionals who work as external consultants.

This program is designed to offer a good blend of theories and practice in the consulting of human resources to meet the growing demand for competent HR Consultants. The program provides an excellent forum for the participants to gain a better insight of every aspect of HR Management from senior HR consultants, who are conducting this program.

PROGRAM OUTLINE

Prospective Practicing HR Consultants are required to undergo training in the scheme’s training modules which represent essential consulting process-related knowledge a Human Resources consultant should possess. The CHRC® BOK "body of knowledge" is defined internationally by the HRMI® standards as the following Modules:

 

Module1: Strategic HR Management

Synopsis: Human Resource Management at work, The Changing Environment of HR , The Changing Role of HR, Equal Employment Opportunity, The Strategic Management Process, HR Role in Creating Competitive Advantage, HR Strategic Roles and Creating the Strategic HRMS

 

Module2: Developing HR Capability

Synopsis: Orientation Employees, Training Process, Training Methods, Management Development, Managing Organizational Change, Evaluating the Training Effectiveness, Career Development, Performance Management and Appraisal.

 

Module3: Compensation & Benefit

Synopsis: Job Analysis, Job Evaluation, Compensation Surveys / Development of a Salary Structure, Employee Benefits and Services

 

Module4: Organizational Behavior

Synopsis: Technology & the Design of work process, Organization Designs, Individual & Group Behavior, Work Teams, Motivating& Rewarding Employees and Communication & Interpersonal Skills.

 

Module5: High Performance Organizations

Synopsis: The high performance context of organizational behavior, Characteristics of high performance organization, Management challenges of high performance organizations and How to build high performance organizations.

 

Module6: Project Management

Synopsis: PM Principles, PM Processes, Project Time Management, Project HR Management, Project Cost Management, Project Risk Management, Project Procurement Management 

 

Module7: Total Quality Management

Synopsis: TQM Principles, EOQ, Process, Systems and Agency Theories, Teams, Taguchi and JIT, Quality Definition and Measurement, Ten Lessons in Simplicity and HRMI 8001:2009.

 

Module8: Productivity Analysis& Improvement

Synopsis: TFP Growth Measurement, Sources of Output Growth and TFP Growth, Productivity Growth Performance, Productivity Growth and the New Economy, linking wages, overtime and productivity, New Concepts of Productivity and its Improvement.

 

Module9: Problem Solving & Decision Making

Synopsis: Understanding the situation, diagnosing & defining the problem, characteristics of problems, steps in solving problem, types of decision, uncertainties, decision making process, limits on decision making, group decision, common mistakes in decision making and decision making models.
